Kapadia Education Foundation is pleased to announce the sponsorship of 20 women and two men for a certification course in hospitality in Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe. KEF has committed to pay for 50% of their student fees for training in the hospitality field.
This is a much-needed first step for these students as they rise out of poverty and venture toward a career that could lead to greater accomplishments.
These 22 students will prepare for a certification exam in their field of study: food preparation, housekeeping, and bartending. Once they pass their certification exam this coming summer, they will be qualified to work at the local resorts in Victoria Falls.
The entire sponsorship was paid for by Lauren Smith, a longtime and passionate supporter of Kapadia Education Foundation. Thank you, Lauren, for making a change in the lives of deserving students.
